Hey everyone,

I'm Nat, a photographer exploring the world of illustration and  design. Starting mintymentaiko was my response to the limitations on photography work during Covid. Now, it has become my "ikigai"! It's been quite the ride, starting from a place of curiosity and ending up knee-deep in sketches and prints.

Creating stickers were my gateway into this whole illustration thing. Honestly, I never imagined it would lead me here. Now, as I navigate this transition from behind the lens to behind the drawing board, I'm discovering a whole new way to express myself.

I'm a proud kidult who believes there's no age limit to liking anything cute. When it comes to my style of drawing, think cute, nostalgic, and colourful, but with neatly drawn lines. It's like a warm hug wrapped in a rainbow, an organized chaos that brings joy to the eye. I don't really limit my art style; sometimes it's with outlines, sometimes without, because I believe I'm free to express myself any way I want.

Let's talk about my main crew – these three characters I've been doodling up a storm with. They're like the buddies you turn to for a laugh or a shoulder to lean on. I'm all about creating art that feels like home – cozy, familiar, and maybe a little quirky.

So, here's to the journey ahead. It's messy, it's real, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

PS: My folio ahead.
